Teams - get ready to run!  Animal Rescue Kare (ARK) is hosting the Dawgy Dash 5K Run on June 1.  We would love to have your school, your team, or your club form a team to take part in this event.  Teams of 10 or more get $5.00 off registration for each participant.  Early registration is $25 for ages 14 and up, $20 for youth 13 and under.  Teams would pay $20 and $15 for each participant.  Hurry and register soon!  After May 1, prices go up by $10 and you won't be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Summer Opportunities of Interest to Gifted Students 2019 is now available on the KAGE website at http://kagegifted.org/summercamps/  Webpages for each camp are hyperlinked on the pdf. Many of these camps have early registration deadlines, so contact them as soon as possible if you are interested. All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge.

HCHS's first ever Science Olympiad Team competed against eight very experienced schools in the Regional Tournament in Somerset and won 4 events (Experimental Design, Fossils, Dynamic Earth, and Designer Genes)!

The team has big goals for next  year!

River Pointe Church will be holding River Fest 5k May 18. The 5k will raise money to go toward River Fest. River Fest is an annual free community event held the last Saturday of September. At River Fest families can enjoy live music, inflatables, carnival games, and much more. Many of our Hart County students and their families attend River Fest and delight in a night of good family fun at no cost to them.
