Teachers Attend ECET2

ECET2 stands for Elevating and Celebrating Effective Teaching and Teachers. ECET2 provided a forum on September 20, 2014, for exceptional teachers to learn  from each other and to celebrate the teaching profession. The Green River Region was one of the first regions to host an ECET2 event for the most outstanding teachers in our area. The following teachers were nominated as exemplary teachers and invited to attend this event:  Shelly Carroll, Andrea Nichols, Shayna Tyree, Angela Barbour, Jeff Reed, and Shanna Smith.  One of the many topics the teachers explored during the event was blended/flipped learning.  The district is exploring options for future technological needs, and this group of teachers has been chosen to pilot  innovative practices and strategies to enhance student achievement through personalized learning.
