Title I Program

Cub Run School has a school-wide Title 1 program.  In a school-wide program all students in the school are served.  The goal is to enable all students to perform at the proficient or distinguished levels.

Parent involvement is an important component of our Title 1 program.  Title 1 Parent Involvement funds are utilized to increase parent involvement in our schools.  Parents have the right to be involved in the planning and implementation of parent involvement activities.  We encourage you to review our Parent Involvement Policy and our Parent-School Compact by visiting the links below.

Each school has 3 parent representatives on the District Title 1 Advisory Council.  The Council meets 4 times a year to share concerns and provide input to the District regarding the Title 1 program.  The representatives for Cub Run are:  Renee Butler, Cathy Ballard, and Traci Chenoweth.  Shanna Smith is our teacher representative.

If you would like further information about the Title I program, feel free to contact Virginia Kessinger, at our school, or contact Karen Birdwhistell, the District Title 1 Coordinator at 524-5437.  Click the links below to review our Parent Involvement Policy and Compact.
